Age of Descendants

Also referred to as The Age of the Masters.

The beginning of my second chapter regarding Eris, feudal strife has ended, the great-houses are extinct, and the kingdoms are in decentralized states. There's a large and growing Descendant population that has begun to form clans, work as contractors, and as mercenaries. Darion Soulhouse and his brother Myrr are born to this era, and during their early adulthood they set off for Ladusia to slay the last Imperial Dragon on the continent, a remnant from The Dark Age that was created in parallel to Aurgelmer the giant. This would set in motion the rise of sell-sword Descendants.

Darion and his betrothed would have three children; Vonai as their first born, Naomi, and Seik, the youngest. Vonai grew up to be much like Darion, and they eventually set off to work as contractors, leaving their family behind. Seik would flee his home in fear of his uncle, who greatly feared Descendants. Naomi would leave as well in search for him.

Fate led Seik to a young and criminal girl, with hair as green as her eyes, and they would later meet a young pilgrim sent from Alka, with the mission of stemming the rising tide of Sinus-faithful in Kusen, Maela. From there on the three remained a group until the end of this chapter, which is The Dark Years, where Seik would be used as a catalyst, and cause Naomi to be forced to to clear his name. And turn his friends against him.
