Runic Eris by Gotagetoing Runic Eris by Gotagetoing
Runic Eris is the second most populated continent on Eris, it's largest region is the Spikelands (later Tysoulia).

This map is set during the second age, two thousand years after the Dark retreated north, the Runic humans lived in mere tribes during the first age.

Tyrelia is currently being torn apart by three culture groups, the Hemi's from the north, the Purtics from the west, and the Certruris just north of central Tyrelia. Huge clashes between the invaders happen regularly and the region is in chaos.

The Argevi dynasty in Tellania are amassing their steel plated warriors to conquer the known world, east of them lies Maela, currently the most advanced civilization with the most resources and the most peaceful. But unrest is brewing among the Maelan nobles. The young emperor is incapable of ruling the vast kingdom and pretenders are sure to follow.

Ladusia is fractured by civil war and endless conflict with invading tribes, once the gem of the Gardean Empire, it's now succumbing to the tribes it had fought for centuries. It's Gardean influenced society collapses and it's during this age that they become truly southern.

Hemia is fighting it's own civil war in the north, with giants and thousands of heavily armored infantry, one of the bloodiest civil wars in Hemi history. Causing the giants to become extinct.

Meanwhile the permafrost in Slab Bay is retreating north, allowing foreign merchants to enter the Spikelands through the sea from unknown lands, they call themselves Yvans.

Here's a culture map for the curious: i.imgur.com/JI6GzQs.jpg

Excuse me for my bad spelling, lack of sleep.
